There is a famous place attract domestic and foreign tourists, about 35km from north of DLGL Dung Quat hotel, that is a monument of Mother Thu which is located in the top of Cam mountain, Phu Thanh village, Tam Phu ward, Tam Ky city, Quang Nam province where is about 7km from Tam Ky city and began the construction on 27/07/2009.
    Mother Nguyen Thi Thu (1904 - 2010) in Thanh Quyt village, Dien Thang Trung ward, Dien Ban district, Quang Nam province. She had sons, 1 son-in-law and 2 granddaughters who were sacrificed in two wars.
    The monument has depicted the image of Mother Thu that is hugging her children. It symbolizes her sentiment towards her children, a deep family with love.
    Surrounding the statue is a lake large than 100m2. Go inside the travelers will see the museum an area of 400m2. This is a place to register for Vietnamese heroic mothers with precious documents, photos about the life of heroic mothers in the years of the war.
    The front of the statue is the square with eight pillars sculpture images representing Vietnam’s mothers in all parts of the country to express gratitude and respect for the great merits of Vietnam’s woman who is heroism, determination, faithfulness, resourcefulness.
    Along the main entrance to the monument, the travelers will see two sides of 30 stone lamps – 30 years of hardship, exhausted waiting of Mothers.
    Besides, the travelers can visit the back of the monument where artisans carve poems about the Vietnamese heroic mother on the big rock.
